Another woman has come forward, claiming she was raped by Roman Polanski. This woman, named Edith Michelle Vogelhut, also known as Shelli Paul, is a former model. She was aged 21 at the time of the alleged attack, in 1974. According to Radar Online, Vogelhut reported the alleged sexual assault to the Los Angeles District Attorney in May and was interviewed by authorities. Vogelhut alleges that Polanski handcuffed her at Jack Nicholson’s Hollywood house, where he was staying, then attacked her repeatedly before he passed out. The statute of limitations has expired, so she will be unable to file a civil lawsuit. However, her lawyer is in contact with the LA District Attorney’s Office about a criminal case. For those who need reminding, he got away with the previous case.
