Robert Pattinson has spoken out after Reese Witherspoon’s comments dissing him last week. Witherspoon originally said that Pattinson was snotting glitter and farts in her general direction all during their Water For Elephants sex scene. She was pretty clear it was ‘disappointing’ and ‘disgusting’ to film with the 24-year-old, who she said had a cold. She soon changed her tune and spoke of how ‘sexy’ the scenes was. Now she’s backtracking again, as Pattinson tries to reassure Twihards he has a working penis and game. Speaking to Extra, at the film’s Sunday premiere, Witherspoon tried to retract her earlier comments. ‘I mean, sexy doesn’t cover it… I don’t know how we got this rating, that’s all I’m gonna say,’ Witherspoon deadpanned. Pattinson then took it one step too far; claiming he was welling up at Witherspoon’s beauty. ‘I was actually crying at how sexy Reese was in the scene,’ he said. ‘She thought it was embarrassing for me to be crying, but I think it’s more embarrassing to be sniffing. I’m totally okay with crying at her beauty.’ Huh? ‘It’s true, I was making a coverup for him,’ Witherspoon jokingly admitted. I think the snot story was better. What’s this s**t? Maybe he was crying after being poked in the eye by Witherspoon’s evolving chin?
