People magazine is reporting that Rihanna will be performing at America’s Presidential Inauguration Charity Ball and the charity couldn’t be happier [Website – Amy Grindhouse].
The event supports Feeding America, “the nation’s largest hunger-relief organization”. Vicki Escarra, president and CEO of Feeding America, told People:
“We could not be happier that Rihanna will be performing at the Inauguration charity ball to benefit Feeding America. Rihanna’s involvement will help raise awareness about the prevalence of hunger in America and help bring more aid to the 36 million Americans who do not always know where they will find their next meal.”
Anyone else thanking their lucky stars that Alien Princess RihRih and her cockatoo hairdo are singing at the event and not trannylicious DIVA extraordinaire Sucha Farce Knowles. Sucha Farce would have stank up the place, with her DC3 reject ballads/ constipated voice. Don’t get me wrong, when Farce takes a laxative first, homegirl can SING… but we all know that she wouldn’t take her meds before hitting the stage and would then scream like she hadn’t taken a sh*t in about five years and ep-fit dance like her album sales depended on it.

Rihanna does have a knack of being in the right place at the right time and picking up these plum gigs that should really go to more talented artists. I think she will be good a this though. Also, you are right, she doesn’t need that much make up with her features.
