Rihanna told OK! magazine that she would like to branch out from her mega-successful singing career into a new role as a movie star [Website – Amy Grindhouse].
From memory, Rih has had one particular cameo of note, in the 2006 sequel movie ‘Bring It On: All or Nothing’. I must admit that I watched the film and in-between poking myself in the eye every time Solo Orange or Hayden Pantyliner made an appearance on screen, I BLOODY enjoyed the film. It was so bad that the drunken tweenager in me actually thought it was rather good. Enjoyable as the film was, she was not. Her weave was the best thing about the cameo… However, that has not deterred the star as she says “I’d love to star in some movies, that’s my next goal. I love my music but I want to get into movies.”
I cannot decide which I find more irking… the fact that our beloved Alien Princess has so drastically overestimated her own talent, or that she seems to have no real clue of the work that would go into forging a credible acting career. I don’t think I have heard such a retarded overestimation of a singer’s own acting talent since ASShat Timberfake said he didn’t need acting lessons to star in blockbuster movies because he had acting lessons for the Mickey Mouse Club when he was 12.
Alien Princess, do us all a favour and at least play this for laughs. Ask the person who taught you to sing if they do acting classes too… that is all =)

is she serious? someone needs to tell these singers not all of them can act. need we be reminded of mariah carey’s glitter or britney spears’ crossroads. whitney houston did a pretty good job, though in the couple pof movies she was in and beyonce is good when she’s playing a singer…lol
