Ugh, these bitches again… there are some new reports out today about Ike ‘n’ Tina and sources say that they are taking a break from leaking stories about themselves/ making the biggest and most long-winded mistake of their lives.
So, from what I have heard today RiRi is taking some time out on one US coast, while Ike Turner v2.0 (Chris Brown) is chillaxing on the other. Yes, that’s right. The pair are attempting to embark on really effing late damage control and stem the flow of speculation and scrutiny currently being inflicted on them both. Sources are saying that they are letting it be known they are getting some distance from each other.
Guess this makes it harder for their entire respective family trees to talk about them behind their backs, but everyone likes a challenge now don’t they.
According to a source close to the couple, they have been “taking a break.” The source tells E! News that the pair are not calling it a formal breakup, but have decided to put some distance between them. We are told they plan to see each other soon. Last Thursday, Rihanna flew to New York City… Meanwhile, Brown has remained in Los Angeles. ”He’s just putting ideas down for some songs he wrote,” says a source on Brown. “He needs to feel like he’s moving forward.”
Reps for both singers have not made official comment.
In related news, Whoopi Goldberg, and the rest of the women on The View discussed this case today and agreed that the personal and professional life of Chris Brown should be kept separate. In part at least, it seems they were defending him.
