This news broke while I was writing the previous few posts, so THANK YOU to the Facebook readers who pointed this out! Reese Witherspoon was taken to a Santa Monica hospital around 11am Wednesday with ‘minor, non life-threatening injuries,’ after she was hit by a car during her morning jog. According to TMZ.com and E! News, an 84-year-old woman going at 20 miles per hour failed to stop as Witherspoon was crossing the street. The driver was cited for not locating her break, pretty much, before being released to maim another day. Adds E! News, Witherspoon is ‘resting comfortably at home,’ after receiving treatment.
