Radiohead To Play Benefit Show for Haiti Relief

Another batch of celebrities have managed to tear themselves away from anything remotely self-indulgent, and give a moment to ease the suffering of others. Not that fierce bishes Radiohead are self-indulgent, but all their bastard child derivative wannabe pretenders are. The band is inducing Innanets-wide asthma attacks this very moment, by announcing that they are doing a show, this Sunday January 24, 2010, to raise funds for the relief effort in Haiti. Pretty sure I just peed my pants with excitement, but Imma finish sharing this and then change my Depends. Phil Selway, the band’s drummer, says they’re in the middle of recording and as such the show will be held together with a bunch of duct tape. But this is effin’ Radiohead. They could sing me the phone book and I’d still rush home and download that mother on iTunes real quick.

“We’re doing a show this Sunday (January 24, 2010) to raise funds for the relief effort in Haiti. The venue is The Music Box Theatre at The Fonda in Los Angeles, doors at 7PM. All proceeds are going to the Oxfam Haiti relief fund. We’re trying to raise as much money as possible, so tickets will be sold by auction at this site from 8PM tonight until 11AM Saturday (PST): http://www.ticketmaster.com/event/09004434FC1C86ACSelway added, to avoid some of the confusion “Auction starts Thursday January 21, 2010 8PM PST. Auction ends Saturday January 23, 2010 11AM PST”
