It’s not a real wedding, unless someone is being wrestled to the ground. Two photographers were arrested on Saturday February 27, 2010, as they tried to snap pictures of the nuptials between The Bachelor’s Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney. The wedding fakery was purdy, but washed out by the rain. However, rain never stopped a pap. Each has a litter of at least a dozen kids to feed. Hence them hovering around like buzzards and getting themselves in trouble.
In lieu of a smackdown by the real popo, the fake-ass popo detained the paps until law enforcement arrived. The paps were accused of blocking access at a park, nearby. The over-zealous Mall Cops were accused by the media of taking dangerous measures to ensure the wedding the paps were taping on public property near the Tillanea resort in Palos Verdes, CA, was not documented.
A reality wedding event was marred by the show’s own security Saturday afternoon. One photographer was choked from behind while the other was abruptly pushed to the ground by three large security guards. Considering the circumstances of the day and the photographers legal rights, there was no evidence justifying the escalated altercation or the needless acts of violence toward the photographers on site.
