Peter Andre has accepted a substantial libel damage payout, from a UK magazine, after it made accusations about his now broken marriage.
Peter Andre took legal action against IPC Media after its tabloid publication, Now, claimed he’d misled the public with his nice guy/ good father image. In addition, and even nastier, they claimed he may have been responsible for two accidents suffered by Katie Price’s disabled son Harvey.
Andre was present at London’s High Court when the case was heard in front of Mr Justice Eady today, which is rather unusual. Celebrities are invariably at home picking their cracks when this kind of finding is reached.
Speaking after the court appearance, Andre said he was glad Now and IPC Media admitted the lies, though he would not confirm the amount of payout received.
