Fall Out Boy being in concert along with Blink 182 could do nothing to distract Pete Wentz from his woeful manbangs and that he needed to get rid, forthwith.
The emo rocker, who’s often in the headlines for his romance with wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz, decided to shave his head. His wish was granted and his head shaved by Mark Hoppus of Blink 182, during their MSG NYC concert Sun. Oct. 4.
Wentz had declared war on the emo swoosh, as he called it, much in the way Ol’ Bush declared a War on Terror. Who doesn’t love totally fake wars against things that would be better tackled by a dose of common sense. The singer hoped that as he’d started the death of the emo swoosh, he could be one iota as cool as Jay-Z was when he declared Death of Auto Tune.
I suspect that Wentz is gonna fall a little short. However, he almost looks cute under all that hair, so I can’t quite bring myself to be mad at him… now, if only I could get him to wash off the guy-liner.

Um…not sure what to think about this. Just one of those thigns you have to get used to, y’know? Guess everyone has to chage it up eventually, right? Though, I wonder if mistress ashlee or the new baby is behind this…lol
