Penelope Cruz married earlier this month, in a ceremony that managed to somehow stay secret and off the radar until yesterday. Being that Cruz married her man, Javier Bardem, and let out so few details that People magazine barely scraped together one paragraph about the wedding based off information confirmed by her rep, the rest of the tabloids are making up their own stories at this point. It had been reported earlier today, by the always (un)reliable Life & Style magazine, that the couple had a shotgun wedding as Cruz was pregnant. In the oddly-worded, short, article they clarify that ‘the couple wanted to get married before their baby arrives next year’. Which wouldn’t mean any damn thing but for their title blaring that ‘Life & Style can reveal exclusively that Penelope Cruz and husband Javier Bardem are expecting their first child’. No, Not so much. Cruz’s rep denies the predictable pregnancy rumours to E! Online.

Wouldn’t surprise me, but don’t they already have a kid together? Why would they get married just to have another one?
