For its April 2011 cover, Elle Japan features someone who’s like Pattinson, only smaller. Because she’s smaller, she’s holding an animal that’s 50% wool, rather than the heavier alligator featured for no reason on Vanity Fair. I would say I hope this mini-trend is over, but I don’t. I want bigger and more ridiculous animals who’re not small enough to be mistaken for a purse.
