Hilton has made a parody video, in which she engages in a mock-presidential campaign.
The clip was intended as a dig at Republican presidential candidate John McCain, who likened Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama to celebrities Britney Spears and Paris Hilton.
McCain campaign strategist, Steve Schmidt said:
“It’s beyond dispute that [Obama] has become the biggest celebrity in the world. But do the American people really want to elect the biggest celebrity in the world?”
