Ryan Reynolds is covering up his abs, on the double People magazine covers naming him People’s Sexiest Man Alive 2010. Which doesn’t really make sense. Perhaps they’re counting all the times he has been so kind as to go shirtless this year. Ah, yes. Outstanding Contribution to Abs, 2010. Fine. Reynolds stars as the Green Lantern, the titular character in the forthcoming movie. The recently-released trailer for that is shown below, along with the second cover for People’s special double issue. This would be a declaration of the sexiest man of the year, mid-November; in the same vein as those Sexiest Men of the Decade lists. Am I understanding this right? Oh. Good. Excerpts from his interview are below.
Beyonce Heat Advert Banned from Daytime TV
Beyonce’s commercial for Heat is shown below, because that’s where all smut is relegated to when it becomes banned. After a whopping… wait for it… 14 people in the UK complained about the Heat advert, for Beyonce’s perfume, it has been banned from airing on British daytime television. The commercial shows Beyonce writhing around in an advert that did make me slightly uncomfortable. If only because her breasts were barely covered and I spent the whole minute playing Spot The Nipple Slip. Given that other people don’t like to play fast and loose with their soft-core porn, it has been decided that the spot won’t air before 7:30 p.m. anymore, so as not to further offend those who complained to the Advertising Standards Authority. Manufacturers of the perfume claimed the commercial was in tune with Beyonce’s ‘sexy chic’ imagery and not in any way indecent. It argued that the imagery was less overtly sexual than what is routinely seen in music videos. They have a point. The ASA accepted the advert was not obscene or offensive but was unhappy that it had been shown on daytime TV. It said, ‘Several complainants had told us their children had seen the ad broadcast during the middle of the day around family programmes.’ See below.
Kelly Osbourne Shape Bikini Cover December
Kelly Osbourne’s bikini picture covers Shape December. This is the issue in which we see Osbourne’s much-slimmer figure, shown off in her first ever bikinis. The much-talked-about cover is above, and shows the drastic amount of weight lost since appearing on Dancing With The Stars. The 26-year-old lost nearly 50 pounds (3st. 5lbs.) since last year and now weighs 112 pounds, at 5 foot 2 inches tall. ‘I never thought in a million years I’d be that healthy girl who wakes up every morning to exercise,’ she tells the magazine. She also shares that she does 30 minutes exercise per day, so she doesn’t get overwhelmed, and she cried at trying on her first bikini; after never having contemplated trying one on before. ‘I used to eat chips and cookies and drink soda all day long,’ she admitted. ‘I had to start making better choices.’ The new issue of Shape is out November 22.

Pink Reveals Pregnancy and a Past Miscarriage
Along with a confirmation that she is pregnant, Pink shares some sadder news about a past miscarriage. On The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing today, Pink is asked why she took so long to confirm her pregnancy. When asked why she’d hidden the news, her reply was similar to that of Mariah Carey, she had miscarried before. ‘[I] was just really nervous and I have had a miscarriage before but if I was going to talk about it with anyone, it was going to be with you.’ That makes sense. And in any case, she doesn’t have to confirm one way or another. Some celebrities never do. She hasn’t yet given an exact due date, nor roughly how far she is along. However, she did reveal that she’s probably expecting a girl after her doctor slipped up and told her against her wishes.
Amanda Seyfried Red Riding Hood Movie Trailer
Amanda Seyfried stars in the below Red Riding Hood movie trailer. The movie trailer follows productions stills from earlier in the week, which I saw but was too underwhelmed by to post. The retelling of Little Red Red Riding Hood also stars Gary Oldman, Shiloh Fernandez, and Virginia Madsen. So, basically, people who don’t suck and should make (what would be) an otherwise puerile film pretty watchable for adults. I’m checking out the trailer as I post, and I’m torn. Its story arc is pretty good; it seems to follow the book loosely and remains coherent enough to hold interest. However, it’s shot like a budget version of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland. Somewhere in between the costuming and the direction it becomes cheapened a little. I can’t really be more specific. The trailer, at the least, is worth checking out. The movie is released in theaters March 11, 2011.
Pregnant Miranda Kerr Covers Vogue Australia
Miranda Kerr shows off her baby bump, on the cover of Vogue Austraila. The December 2010 issue of Australian Vogue shows the Victoria’s Secret model and her unborn baby, which she’s expecting with husband Orlando Bloom. This isn’t the only pregnant magazine photo shoot Kerr has done; now six-and-a-half months pregnant, she is also in W magazine, as part of the Family Issue, completely naked covering nothing but her crotch. This is altogether more tasteful, and her giant nipples won’t give you nightmares; they’re covered with fancy over-priced clothing and can’t hurt you any more. The cover shows her sideways, holding her bump. For another picture, she’s wearing a white lace dress through which you can see her underwear (so the baby can breathe, I guess… that’s how babies get air, right? There’s no blowhole or anything, so I always just assumed). Kerr is the first model for Vogue Aus. to be photographed pregnant for the cover. She gives some cute quotes. ‘One thing I was tempted to order online is a thing you can put on your tummy to make a mold of your tummy in bronze and you can keep that forever. That way you can always have that memory,’ Kerr explains. ‘You do this mold and then when the baby comes out you can put the baby in a blanket in the mold so it feels like it’s still in your tummy.’
