Along with a confirmation that she is pregnant, Pink shares some sadder news about a past miscarriage. On The Ellen DeGeneres Show, airing today, Pink is asked why she took so long to confirm her pregnancy. When asked why she’d hidden the news, her reply was similar to that of Mariah Carey, she had miscarried before. ‘[I] was just really nervous and I have had a miscarriage before but if I was going to talk about it with anyone, it was going to be with you.’ That makes sense. And in any case, she doesn’t have to confirm one way or another. Some celebrities never do. She hasn’t yet given an exact due date, nor roughly how far she is along. However, she did reveal that she’s probably expecting a girl after her doctor slipped up and told her against her wishes.

Pink and her husband Carey Hart are expecting. The singer confirmed the news on Ellen. Her interview will air later today, and on the show the 31-year-old reveals the gender of her baby; at least, what she believes to be the gender. When asked by DeGenderes whether she was expecting a baby boy or a baby girl, Pink replies that she and her husband did not want to know. However, probably drunk at the time (as that’s how I practice medicine), her doctor slipped up and revealed the baby’s gender. Due to this slip-up, Pink believes she’s having a daughter. A little Pink baby, with great abs, just like her mother. The couple met at the X Games in Philadelphia in 2001, where Pink proposed to Hart in 2005 during one of his races by holding up a sign that read ‘Will you marry me?’ Pink, real name Alecia Moore, split from her professional motorcross racer husband in February 2008 after two years of marriage. They got back together a year later.
