George Zimmerman 2nd Degree Murder Charge

I’d been reading about this case for weeks, although I had blithely assumed it would never come to fruition because one gathers shooting someone is legal in Florida so long as you FINISH HIM. I’d been reading the regurgitation of Storm Front talking points from sites that should know better. I read about Spike Lee and others tweeting a random address, purporting to be George Zimmerman’s location, which nearly got a random couple killed. I read that Zimmerman set up a site asking for donations. And I read that his lawyers abandoned him, after they lost him. I was all ‘Yeah, he’ll never be charged.’ But shut my mouth, because the decision has been made to charge Zimmerman. Hence the new mug shot photo taken yesterday when he was booked with the second degree murder of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin. Zimmerman handed himself in to authorities Wednesday. The 28-year-old committed the alleged crime February 26 in Sanford, FL although one suspects he’s only being charged because of the outcry. Zimmerman’s old mug shot is below, and dude’s lost a lot of weight, right?

Deciding against wearing a mini dress and riding her bike while wearing no panties because that happened already and it was awesome, Miley Cyrus wore leggings to Windsor Pilates yesterday. I’m calling leggings ‘pants’ because they cover her labia. Although the bra situation is still hit-and-miss. Time flies when you’re comfort-eating in your jammies (real conversation with Father Grindhouse over Easter Sunday lunch… FG: ‘So, how’s the site going? Still enjoying it? Making good money?’ Me: ‘Yeah, it’s going great, thanks. I’d take the worst day doing this over my best day in an office. More to the point, I work four/five-hour days in my jammies. I’m good’). Amanda Bynes Is ‘Lost’ & Drinking Regularly?

Yesterday, I had a brief conversation with a Twitter follower to the tune of ‘Yeah, you’re right, she’s 26-years-old and her daddy’s lying to People Magazine about her sobriety.’ During another conversation on Facebook, I replied: ‘Yeah, Bynes was at The Standard Hotel Thursday and Lindsay Lohan might have been at home with ice cream and Netflix. It’s plausible it’s Bynes who assaulted that woman. We’ll see…’ And that’s about the long and short of it. There’s at least one TMZ.com video showing friends holding up an inebriated-looking Bynes as they exited a club. Another video shows a TMZ cameraman begging enablers to stop Bynes driving when she appears drunk again. And the website is blatantly calling her on it, suggesting a drinking problem that requires treatment. I concur. She needs help aside from daddy’s hand-holding. Other sources have since run to People about Bynes, claiming that she’s become lost since she stopped working regularly: ‘This DUI was definitely just a serious lapse in judgment. She hit a wall personally and professionally [in 2008] … I think she’s been a little lost since then.’ Another source adds: ‘[She] was raised in the industry and came up in the industry, so she has kind of a twisted head space in terms of social groups.’

Wook Thinks Kim Kardashian Is Rushing In

With Khloe Kardashian being the voice of reason, it’s reported she’s concerned her sister is rushing into another relationship. Moreover, there’s a concern the fauxmance for ratings/ iTunes sales could damage Kim Kardashian’s position in the divorce filing. I don’t know about that, I don’t think pimp-momager approved trips to FAO Schwarz and lyrics about getting Kris Humphries fired from the NJ Nets are admissible. Except, perhaps, Kanye West admitting in Theraflu that he’d ‘loved’ Kardashian since before her wedding gives some credence to allegations of an affair (I guess album sales and viewing figures for West’s guest appearances on KUWTK are better PR than sinking Humphries in court). In any case, a source tells RadarOnline.com Wook is concerned: ‘Khloe just wishes that Kim wouldn’t get involved with anyone for at least a year. Kim isn’t even divorced yet and Khloe is extremely worried that Kris is going to try and attempt to use her new relationship as ammunition to score a bigger settlement. Khloe doesn’t want her sister to get hurt again and she is extremely concerned about cheating allegations that have been made against Kanye in the past. Kim is extremely vulnerable, and the last thing she needs is to have her heart broken.’

Slow wants to know whether the wedding shill money was spent on West: ‘Kris absolutely wants to know if Kim spent money on Kanye while he was married to her. If Kim took Kanye out to dinner, bought him any gifts, etc., Kris wants to know how much she spent, if anything at all. Under the law in California, Kris is legally entitled to that money and he deserves it, if it can be proven.’
