After 38 years, Bridges [won]. He won a Best Actor Oscar at Sunday’s ceremony, his first ever Academy Award, for his role as a drunken country singer who finds redemption in Crazy Heart. He was first nominated for The Last Picture Show,1971. “Mom and dad! Yeah look! Woo-hoo! Thank you mom and dad for putting me onto such a groovy profession.
