The Office Wedding Spoofs Viral YouTube Video

The Office: An American Workplace TV wedding video spoofs YouTube wedding.

The Office: An American Workplace wedding video, with the wedding of Jim and Pam, shows the actors spoofing some goofy, crappy wedding from YouTube.

I’d feign interest or act like I care, but I went out of my way to ignore the original Jill and Kevin (JK) Wedding Entrance, below, when everyone and their mother was talking about it in July. It’s a regular wedding with regular people dancing to a Chris Brown song, called Forever. In my opinion, it’s not really worth The Office parodying this crap, but they did anyway.

I didn’t watch the original YouTube version, so I can’t really watch the above without my head exploding. I gather if you saw the original viral the NBC video is, generally speaking, really rather funny.

Hey, thank you. As someone who doesn’t pay attention to such things, I had no idea what the reference was to, so googled it and found your blog.

Remember, it is what the *characters* in the Office would want to parody, not what Pam & Jim (or the viewers) would.

Not being in the US, I can’t see the NBC version linked, but saw the show.

    1. Welcome to the site and thanks for the comment, Christopher Robinson. You have a very good point about looking at it from the character’s point of view. Thinking about it that way sure makes a lot more sense.
