Why, oh why?
Light of my life, the effervescent Solange Knowles has gone and made a royal tit out of herself, on live television.
Solange, baby sister or Beyonce, is one of the few celebrities that I give enough of a shit about, to not cuss her out on a regular basis… and now she has gone and let the side down!
Hairy Feetsies Knowles was doing an interview on a Las Vegas show called “More”. She was promoting her album Sol-Angel & the Hadley St. Dreams.
The interview, as shown above, has sparked much blog-wide debate, on Ms Knowles funky-azz ‘tude because she was unbelievably rude to the woman interviewing her.
Seems the issue started with an off-air interview brief. The interviewer had (rightly) double-checked whether Knowles was comfortable talking about Beyonce or Jay-Z. Knowles said ‘No’ she wasn’t, off-air and then the show started broadcasting.
The (very courteous) show host introduced Knowles and invited her to start talking about her album… and then Knowles hit the roof. She flew into a rage, slagging off the interviewer and calling the questions ‘unproffessional’:
“I have to say, that was not a very professional introduction before. Please don’t tie me into family and my brother-in-law’s establishment.”
Knowles bitchy outburst happened because she thought that the pre-interview questions (that she disliked) were shown to the public. She believed that the interviewer had breached a prior agreement to:
“ban media outlets from even mentioning Solange’s sister’s name,” including any Beyonce-related questions’.
She was in the wrong and argued with the flustered woman, on live TV, for no reason.
Someone off camera had to step in and say (audibly) that the pre-interview was not shown.
“That wasn’t live, Solange. That wasn’t on [live] TV.”
Ooooh. Girl fight.
UPDATE: Seems ‘Hairy Feetsies’ Knowles a.k.a. ‘Might Cut A Bitch’ Knowles has since apologised for the incident citing ‘lack of media training’.
However sources say this is utter horse shit:
“A source close to Solange told Pop Tarts that the songstress hasn’t really had any media training, is “coddled” by her label and is spoiled to the point that she gets whatever she wants.”
