Nightmare on Elm Street is back to underwhelm you with predictable thrills and spills. The franchise was not worn out quite enough in the 80s, so Platinum Dunes are going all 90210 and making a remix.
This time, Jackie Earle Haley takes over the creepy role as Freddy Krueger, made famous by Robert Englund. Two pieces of promotion have been released in 24 hours. The poster is new for today (above), a movie still was released as a teaser, yesterday (below).
The movie will be a must for hardcore fans, but I think I’ll sit this one out.

Agreed, HWood is officially out of ideas. Apparently the new male lead is a pretty damn good actor, but even that can’t save a crap concept of a dead franchise.
