Cougar Town actress Nicole Sullivan, whom I recognise from Scrubs since I didn’t even realise Cougar Town was still on the air, says famous mothers are lying liars who tell lies about their postpartum weight loss. Sullivan, who says she, like Jessica Simpson, honestly believed the baby weight would fall off on its own, admitted: ‘When I look back to when I had my first son, I was unhappy. I couldn’t understand why the weight wasn’t just falling off. I wish I could have that time back… There just are not a lot of overweight people in Hollywood. I felt like the jerk who couldn’t figure it out.’ Which obviously makes other mothers lie-tellers if they claim to have lost 60 lbs in 6 months through breast feeding and light exercise. She continued that after having her first son, Dashel, now five, she ‘felt broken… felt like an outsider in my own community.’ She continued: ‘I would flip through celeb magazines… and I just couldn’t get how these mums like Jessica Alba lost so much weight so quickly, and yet I couldn’t. They all lie and say, ‘Oh, I lost the weight running after the kids or breastfeeding.’ It’s not true.’
