Nicole Richie was involved in a car accident, caused by a paparazzo, at around 2 p.m. Monday Oct. 5. The reality star and mother of two was driving in Beverly Hills with her mother Brenda, according to Hollyscoop.
A paparazzo’s car rear-ended hers. The children, Sparrow James Midnight Madden and Harlow Winter Kate Madden, were luckily not in the car at the time. Brenda didn’t suffer any injuries. Richie reportedly had minor injuries and her car had minor damage. No ambulance was called to assist her. Despite telling police that she was in pain, Richie told officers at the scene she would seek her own private medical assistance from her own doctor.
The person who hit her car has been arrested, according to TMZ, and his vehicle towed. The paparazzo was cited for being an unlicensed driver, which is a misdemeanor, and his car has been impounded.
