Montana Fishburne, the teenage porn star daughter of Tony/ Emmy Award winner Laurence Fishburne, faked a suicide attempt. It would appear this happened shortly before she checked herself into an inpatient facility, in September, ‘that specializes in anger management, behavioral problems and mental illness.’ It’s alleged that the teenager’s pretending to drink bleach was caught on video by a private investigator working for Fishburne’s father. In August 2010, somewhere around the time I was busy ignoring the girl’s existence and not dignifying her ‘Kim Kardashian-inspired’ attempts at entering the entertainment industry with post after post, her father became so worried about her well-being, he had her followed. The person hired to do the job shot video of Fishburne drinking a substance that appeared to be bleach. However, it was later revealed that she faked the whole thing. She reportedly found out she was being watched and ‘put on a show’. According to TMZ, the tape has become relevant in the ongoing criminal assault case against Fishburne ‘because her lawyer, Shawn Chapman Holley, had sent the tape to the prosecutor to demonstrate her client’s troubled mental state and help get a plea deal that involved rehab, not jail time. The prosecutor agreed to the deal, but has since disavowed it and wants her to do jail time.’ Prosecutors in the case now argue the tape was a manipulative ploy to gain a more lenient sentence. Holley, the most over-worked lawyer in Hollywood who also represents Kim Kardashian and Lindsay Lohan, shortly after sending the video, learned it was fake and notified the prosecutor they had been tricked by it. Even so, Holley still wants the original lenient deal of rehab and not jail.
