Ooh, girl. Mischa Barton has finally landed herself a paycheck after being seen for so long as the HoHan of the small screen (famous for being perpetually out of work). The formerly skinny star, best known for her work on the OC, has landed herself a role on Ashton Kutcher’s latest project.
Her fan (yes, fan) will be so thrilled to know that Mushy’s famous acting talents will once again be on display in glorious HD technicolor. Barton is not set to star on Gossip Girl, as per previously rumoured, but a new CW drama called A Beautiful Life.
Barton spoke to the hot biatches @ People magazine about being able to pay the rent this month. “Ashton developed it about his life growing up as a model from Iowa, so it’s about the whole fashion world that he was in, and obviously I have a lot of friends in the fashion world, so I’m used to being around a lot of people in that,”
“[I play] a bitchy model-type character, like it’s a totally different character for me,” says Barton, who starts shooting as Sonia, a successful model who keeps the competition at bay but also advises the younger ones, at the end of the month.”
WOOT, no Spaghetti Os for Mushy tonight, time to break out the celebratory Pork ‘n’ Beans !
