Above is the first picture of Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom’s baby boy. It had been reported that the couple had struggled to come up with a baby name. However, the actor and the Victoria’s Secret model have finally chosen one. In a post on Kerr’s blog (which seems to load sporadically), the 27-year-old posted about her newborn son and shared the first ever picture. In addition to the image of the new mother breastfeeding her baby, we learn the child’s name and some more details about his birth. Flynn Bloom weighed 9 lbs, 12 oz, so not far off the reported 10 pounds. His mother writes that he’s ‘a very healthy and big baby boy’ and a ‘little ray of sunshine.’ She continues, making me wince, ‘I gave birth to him naturally, without any pain medication, and it was a long, arduous and difficult labour, but Orlando was with me the whole time supporting and guiding me through it… I could not have done it without him.’ She finishes by saying, ‘We are so happy and are enjoying our time together as a family’, and then thanks fans for their, ‘beautiful well-wishes and your lovely thoughts and comments’, which she promises to read/ respond to when she ‘[gets] a chance.’
