Minka Kelly and Derek Jeter have split up, in what I’m going to assume is the best news on a Friday short of: ‘FREE HOT POCKETS FOR EVERYONE!’ Kelly and Jeter, the last time I bothered to check in on their boring relationship, were fending off engagement rumours. And now, after a three-year relationship, her rep tells People.com they’re over. There’s no real statement, so we’re left with sources’ accounts of what happened. ‘They care about each other and it was amicable,’ says a source. ‘They’re still friends.’ Adds a source to JustJared.com who broke the story, ‘The split was amicable, but they remain friends. They still really care for each other.’ Kelly is currently shooting the ABC Charlie’s Angels reboot.
