Miley Cyrus spoke to the latest issue of Parade, and revealed that she no longer attended church as often as she should. This is the closest Cyrus has ever come to stringing together a cogent quote, so soak this up for all it’s worth. It won’t happen again. The singer tells the magazine that press intrusion means she can’t attend church, and worship with others, as often as she would like. She says she fears the paparazzi will intrude, and make attendance unpleasant for everyone.
On attending church less often than usual: “I don’t necessarily define my faith by going to church every Sunday. Because now when I go to church, I feel like it’s a show. There are always cameras outside. I am very spiritual in my own way. Let me make it clear, though… I am a Christian.”
Hang on. Cyrus says something that makes sense/ actually kind of makes me feel bad for her/ shows compassion for others. What kind of ridiculous witchery is this? Oh, I know. I’m pooped. This must be my sleep apnea cutting off oxygen to my brain and causing delusions, again. Nothing to worry about. As you were.
