Michael Jackson’s final years and in some cases his funeral of less than a day ago, covers the bulk of today’s tabloid magazines.
The magazines for this week are oddly less macabre than last week’s, which saw one magazine show an image of the star deceased in the ambulance on the way to the hospital.
One thing that should be pointed out is what an amazing job People magazine did getting images from yesterday on their cover today. Anyone who knows about ridic. magazine lead times knows that cannot have been easy to make happen.

I still haven’t bought any special edition mags yet
You’ll regret it… get one or two maybe (sounds weird but some of the nicer ones with lots of pictures you can keep and show to your kids one day).
i need to go get one and put it away for safe keeping. then in about 50yrs i (or some descendant) can sell it for mucho dinero lol
That’s a good idea. I really think people will talk about this the way they do Elvis… telling their kids that they have newspapers from the day/ they were at his last concert or whatever.
It’s just sickening to see those kids being splattered all over those rags. Especially after he protected so much in life, now in death they are fair game.
I agree. A lot of people are publishing them and saying that in theory they would not ordinarily have these kids on their site. However, they point out it was the family’s own choice to thrust these kids onstage at the memorial and into the spotlight. I question the family’s judgement in doing that.
I think that Paris needed an outlet for her grief and everyone should accept it as such and allow these kids to try to salvage what’s left of a quasi-normal childhood.
