The January 27th, 1984 video of late Michael Jackson being set alight, on the shoot for an old Pepsi commercial, is once again in the public interest.
There has been speculation that this initial incident, where Jackson received second and third degree burns about the head/ face, is the reason he initially (allegedly) became addicted to painkillers. There have been a lot of rumours that Jackson was a long-term drug addict who would use any procedure and excuse to get sedated. There is also word that his case is now being treated as a homicide.
No charges have been made against his doctor(s) just yet, so we’ll have to wait and see.
By the way, Jackson sold over 1.1 million records this week and 5 of his albums are in the top 10 on the US Billboard pop charts.
i was only ___ yrs old when this happened, but i remember my sister going nuts and neary freaking out. i’m not so sure this can be the pinpoiint event that led to his alleged addiction, though. sounds like they’re just making more tsuff up to drag this story out even lonbger and keep dragging his name through the mud
I’ve never seen the whole thing, it’s carzy and you can clearly see a patch of hair the size of the palm of your hand missing near the end. I assure you they aren’t lieing about his addictions. I would not say it if I did not think it was true. I’ve been watching the reports very closely. Someone is about to be charged with murder.
OMG poor baby, this is so tragic i didn’t know his whole head was in FLAMES!!! this makes me sad.
michael went through so much pain after this physically and emotionally
this is when it began
