M.I.A. has released the pretty tame music video for XXXO. By tame, I don’t mean really tame by any particular stretch. I just mean no children were executed with a point blank gunshot to the head, like in her Born Free music video. I did like that video, though it took weeks before I watched it… and even then I only did so on the recommendation of a friend. This video is 100% less gruesome and 100% more glittery. In fact, I’m pretty sure that in between the stunning visuals, I actually saw one of my escaped glittery unicorns prancing around the screen.
