The makers have clearly tried to put a gen 2.0 stamp on the project and they have done this in the same way as the middle-aged think-tank behind the Twilight franchise. Pop music by has-beens is a great way to show an 18-25 audience that you are really down with the kids. I feel sorry for ASSlee. Once this show tanks, she’s going to have to start job-hunting in this tricky recession-f*cked market.

*SIGH* last year they bitch slapped us with 90210 remake that sucked, althogh the brenda and brandon clones were pretty good, and its never a bad thing to see jennie garth. now they’re trying to bring this back. don’t folks realie there is a reason these shows went off the air? just adding sme nw music to appeal to tweens isn’t going to make it a hit (neitheri s hsowing the same episode 3 or 4 times a week)
Where they smell some easy money and people who may lazily watch out of nostalgia, they’ll keep ripping off their own shows.
