Melissa Joan Hart has used her official MySpace blog to send an apology to Farrah Fawcett.
Hart expressed regret for saying of her own “diet secrets” People cover release date, that she hoped the Charlie’s Angels actress did not pass away the week before hand (thus stealing her thunder, I guess).
It has come to my attention that something I said has been completely misconstrued in the press. I was merely explaining what I had read about how the cover of People magazine was chosen from an article last week I read in the Times. I truly hope that Farrah and her family know I wish them the best at this time in her life. And that I would never be so selfish to disrespect anyone, let alone someone I admire greatly. I on occasion come off my meds and say things that some people may (do!) find inappropriate. But, for feck’s sake, even I don’t talk crap about people on their death bed/ speak ill of the dead or what have you. I’m not that desperate for attention. OK, I am but I don’t sleep well unless I steer clear of that kind of thing.

She’s such a has been. Melissa REALLY didn’t deserve a People magazine cover.
She is not longer the size she was, so I guess that had news value, but you are right… save it for actual stars.
not exactly sure what it was she said, but melissa being who she is, doesn’t seem like the kind to speak ill of the sick and bereaved. chances are she said something and they twisted it into something else…like she could have said she didn’t like dark hair and they’d have made it sound like she’s a Nazi. that kind of thing,
Well, she needs to keep it locked, she’s been doing this long enough to now how it works.
