That is very true, there probably isn’t one celebrity that hasn’t “suffered” if you really want to call it that, but some may ask for it more than others.
If you have read or seen any of Megan’s interviews, you may know that she has said that she also is aware that most clebrities become sort of “sacrificial lambs” and has created a sort of alter-ego to present to the public in order to preserve her true self. I think it’s rather smart. Might as well act like this snarky, cocky, I-don’t-give-a-damn kind of gal that to let Hollywood tear you apart.

I don’t understand, are you saying that I implyed I wanted to be infront of cameras or that Megan Fox was “throwing stones”? Because I was the one who said the people judging her looks probably aren’t the best looking either, not her. And I don’t want to be an actress? Your reply made no sense.

It does come with the territory. The heat is always hotter in the center of the fire. This is something that older generations of celebrities understood quite well in Hollywood and employed vast armies of publicity professionals and the might of the vaunted Hollywood studio system to maintain.

The current generation of stars have a simple-minded notion that to offer yourself for public consumption for profit should only yield profit and adulation but not public scorn.

The world has never worked that way. All public figures since the dawn of recorded history have had to ‘suffer the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune’ and the lashes of the plebeian tongue. It’s part of the price of fame.

Yes, because we know how accepting Hollywood are about anything that is less that perfect, especially on the female species.

I’m sure she IS very insecure about it, she is regarded as a sex symbol, she is supposed to be this perfect specimen and here is this “flaw” that people make fun of. Just look how the people on this forum reacted – and I doubt any of them have room to judge, since we’re throwing stones.

She is beautiful as is. It’s interesting that bloggers and commenters criticize her saying she had plastic surgery on her face and breasts and yet also tear her apart for a “disfigurement”, condition she was born with that she’s not tried to hide from view or fix with surgery. Do you guys also ridicule and judge people with Treacher-Collins syndrome or those with burn scars? It must be so hilarious to you. You believe you can say what you want because you’re anonymous on the internet, but that sh*t energy you dish out will come back to you, and I just wish those you laugh at could be there to see it when it does.

Oh, Lord.. Why do people get so worked up about her thumbs? Big deal! She is still freaking gorgeous! Everyone has flaws. I bet no guy in the world would say, “I was gonna fuck her, but then I saw her thumbs.”

And, the commercial was pretty good, as well.

I have, in some of her photos noticed that her thumb nail is so short, but she normally hides it well. I guess this time there was no getting away from it.
I cannot help but feel sorry for her, had I been her, I would have declined to make this ad, either that or use the index finger instead of the thumb, and kinda hide the thumb like she normally does.

But then, I guess she needs the money…haha…
