Megan Fox’s people have refuted rumours from earlier in the week that the star was going to take her Saint Angelina obsession to new levels, by taking over her role as Lara Croft in ‘Tomb Raider’.
People were crawling out of the industry woodwork and creaming their panties at the thought of Fox taking over the action-packed franchise. They were almost as excited as I was, when I first looked at the pic above. Man, I just wanna slather Fox in Utterly Butterly and lick her all over*.
But Fox’s representative is adamant the actress won’t be stepping into Jolie’s saintly black ballet pumps. A spokesperson for the star says, “Megan is not involved in this movie.”
*IS THAT WEIRD?

[...] No Tomb Raider for Meagan Fox (amygrindhouse) [...]
I hate Megan. She’s ridiculous. This is great!!!!!
I bet she heard the rumours and believed her own press too… ha!
and in a few months we’ll hear that she’s been involved all along, but didn’t want to overshadow the upcoming transformers sequel with the news.
Personally, I don’t know why they feel the ned to “reboot” Tomb Raider. There are literally tons of video games out there they can make movies out of. Ugh! Hollywood frutrates me so sometimes
No more tomb Raider, darn, no idea what kind of actress Megan is, but another Tomb Raider movie would be good.
I was hoping this was true. I can’t watch AJ anymore for some reason. I dont know what it is….
Angelina Jolie – For most men – tumescence.
Not here. Limp as a rag.
@ Mystery Man – There’s profit margins still to be had and be honest, if you could make millions from a lazy arse idea, you would… wouldn’t you?
@ Mik – Sounds like they are still making the film, just not with her.
@ Busy Bee – AJ is soooo freakin’ overexposed right now. People are sick of the sight of her. After all, after a day staring at her face on billboards and magazine covers do people really want to pay to sit for two hours in the cinema and watch her there too?
@ Kelly – She is becoming a soap opera and a cliché. Seems a shame.
I agree – I am just tired of going to the market and being assaulted by Angie J’s one-trick-pony “come hither” face. I know she has done a lot of good things, but so have many, many others, and they do not feel a need to broadcast it to the world.
And I have NEVER gotten the Brad Pitt insanity. I find him bland and boring. He was good in three films as a supporting actor. What is all of the fuss over this dude?
But, as always – I am in the minority, and it is nice and quiet over here.
