Matthew McConaughey’s girlfriend Camila Alves was in labour for 60 mutherfunkin’ hours with son Levi [Website – Amy Grindhouse]. Alves managed to give the following soundbite, without sounding at all bitter:
“Matthew was there the entire time,” Alves, 25, tells Extra. “We went 14 hours with no epidural, having contractions every two minutes.”
What’s the biggest lesson she learned from giving birth?
“No matter what people tell you, you have to experience it yourself,” she says.
Yes, you heard her, ’60 hour labour and 14 hours’ with no pain relief. Poor woman. I’m no Doctor, but I suspect that Alves might still be medicated coming out with quotes like that. Thoughts?
