Mariah Carey’s new video for Obsessed premiered last night (14 July) on America’s Got Talent.

The singer can be seen in the video as she rolls around for four minutes straight, looking like she is having a jolly nice time. Carey does miraculously well, coping for the entire video without the aid of her photoshop bishes and her butt-boy to hold her bags for her (she can be seen carrying them herself near the beginning).

This video makes me love MooMoo more. I can tolerate the fact that the song, video and styling all look like she farted them out while she was making the Emancipation of MooMoo album. With Beyonda Farce releasing the same video three times in a row, I can tolerate this mess.

Despite being dressed up as a man in streetwear in the video, the star denies that the promo is meant to diss a particular performer. During a recent interview with MTV, Nick Cannon shut down rumours that Obsessed was directed at rapper, Eminem.

I don’t know. Honestly, I don’t think so. I don’t think that she would take her time. My wife doesn’t beef. She’s Mariah Carey. She’s not beefin’, she’s a vegetarian.”

To be completely honest, she did the record ’cause she’s a huge fan of this movie ‘Mean Girls,’ and there’s a line in the movie where one of the girls is like, ‘Why are you so obsessed with me?’ She says that at the beginning of the song, and that’s where the concept came from. But you know, art imitates life.”

“I always say I thought the record was about me, ’cause I’m obsessed with my wife,” he said. “But if somebody’s out there and you feel like you might have been obsessed, then the record’s about you.”(via MTV)

Carey already has plans to shoot a remix video featuring Gucci Mane.
