Mariah Insists There Was A Death Threat On Idol; Nicki Says Mariah's Bitter & Jealous Of Her

This American Idol feud has devolved into the women spreading stories about each other: Mariah Carey apparently leaking stories to TMZ.com and Barbara Walters, and Nicki Minaj writing a screed about Carey’s diva antics on Twitter. The day after the altercation that was so aggressive it nearly got physical, by all accounts, Minaj writes on Twitter: ‘I thought we resolved it yesterday but I see u want ur pity party to continue.’ Carey’s ‘pity party’ involved giving an interview to ‘good friend’ Walters and claiming witnesses heard Minaj say ‘If I had a gun I would shoot that fucking b**ch!’ (which Minaj denies). Carey claims the puppies and unicorns hoarded to the ceiling in the green room are no longer safe, she’s ‘emotionally uncomfortable,’ and has hired extra security for the duration of the shoot which spans seven more months. Minaj says on Twitter, though, Walters ran the story without asking for the other side. Most of which, Minaj says, never happened: ‘I don’t call tmz n Barbara Walters cuz I stand on my own two feet. Never needed an army. God is good. Insecurity is as cruel as the grave… Barbara walters didn’t reach out from our team barbz. I guess we’re too dangerous. Don’t shake if u don’t wannA get shook!!!! no camera or mic heard the gun comment tho…’ And Minaj conjectures that Carey is bitter Idol producers have picked favourites: ‘I guess it hurts 2 have the producers tell u to ur face that nicki is the best judge we’ve had since simon. Awww, poor u. Keep them lies cmn… All I do is compliment u. That’s not enuff? Ur a legend, cheer up. U don’t have to run down ur resume or feel intimidated.
