Despite the rumours being spread by a handful of websites, Mariah Carey is denying that she is pregnant. This is one of the many reports I blithely ignore, on a daily basis, as they don’t ring true. I had read on a few websites, reported sloppily as rumour or even as fact despite no confirmation from her rep, that the singer is pregnant. She’s a curvy girl and those curves, plus her not getting as drunk as usual at a recent event, and hints about something exciting on the way, set tongues wagging. Not the tongues of anyone who likes confirmation before reporting pregnancy rumours. The same tongues that waggle with excitement every time Lindsay Lohan is caught doing blow. OK! magazine reports, via Gossip Cop, that the rep of Mariah Carey is denying pregnancy rumours.
Gossip Cop isn’t wondering [about the widely reported and inaccurate...] pregnancy rumor and know the answer. [We] checked with Carey’s rep who assured us there’s “no truth” to the pregnancy rumors. [Gossip Cop]

What I do not understand is, if she is pregnant, why deny it, there is nothing wrong with getting pregnant at her age.

Um, because that would be the done thing when one is not pregnant. And she’s not.
She looks preggers to me!
Or maybe she’s just FAT.
Perhaps, perhaps not – until I get confirmation, I’m not jumping on the “preggers” bandwagon.
