Madonna has reportedly been told that after her long legal fight, she will finally be able to adopt baby Mercy.
With all this talk about money not being able to buy your way around the legal system, one would assume that Vadge had been told to “go hang”, with all her baby demands. Well, you can sleep easy tonight, as the singer has proved that celebrity (and being impervious to any sins associated with baby-snatching) are all you need to get past your legal woes.
Madonna, 50, whose two-year application to adopt the three-year-old was blocked by a court in March, has been told the [good] news by her lawyer Alan Chinula. The ruling is set to be announced next Sunday at Malawi’s Supreme Court of Appeal. A source there said yesterday: “The paperwork is being typed up now. All recommendations are in favour of the adoption taking place. Mercy should start packing her bags. She’s off to America.” (via The Sun)
