The Sun is reporting that Madonna was seen collapsing onstage twice, during Saturday’s Sticky & Sweet show in Sofia, Bulgaria.
The 51-year-old singer was working her thing and grinding her hips into submission. Then, in a video on TheSun.co.uk, the star appears to lose consciousness and faint on the shoulder of one of her dancers. Being a badass and a professional, she is seen trying to soldier on and to get through the show.
The two bouts of illness came as she continued the rendition of Holiday, before reportedly walking off stage during Spanish Lesson after falling ill again.
A source tells The Sun, “Madonna was really worried backstage. She had to sit down for a longer break than usual between songs. She refused to end the show after the Holiday dizzy spell. It turns out she is suffering from exhaustion. She is anemic.” The insider adds, “She was advised to postpone the last two shows for a few days, but logistics and stubbornness stopped her. She’ll do them and then take a rest.” (via The Sun)

would never expect Madonna to be the one passing out on stage. something must be wrong. guess all that running aroudn the worlkd trying to abduct..er..adopt kids and trying to keep up with Angelina, not ot mention the obsessive workouts is catching up with her. she’s not 20 anymore! lol

No honor attaches itself to a refusal to back down when exhausted. She needs to come correct and focus on her family and charitable efforts instead of trying to force us all to acknowledge how great she thinks she is.
Hello sugar plum. Interesting POV. I’m pretty sure Madonna is going to be one of those people who dies in the studio or onstage or something. Either that or her hips will wear out and she’ll have to pack it in anyway. She is now headed for 60 and there’s no way she can keep going at this rate. I’d like to see her spend more time with her growing family too.
