Madonna’s daughter, Lourdes Ciccone Leon, was photographed wearing a SpineCor corrective brace, which is commonly used in the treatment of scoliosis. Either that, or sometimes it is used in the treatment of serious dance or posture-related issues.
Most are speculating that she has scoliosis, as the child is rather young (at twelve-years-old) to have developed a serious dance-related back injury. Perhaps all the backflips and cartwheels she has been doing to keep her mother’s attention are causing the injuries. (As someone funnier than me pointed out, every time the Vadge gets a new baby, the others are all of a sudden nowhere to be seen. Kind of like when the Parasite gets a new dog)

That’s my point in the post, bending over backwards to please her mother is causing her an injury.
It’s not too uncommon for girls that age to be fitted. That’s when you’re supposed to do it- early as possible.
BUT…why hasn’t her mom laid the yoga down? That’s the best preventative treatment.

Good luck to her. We have a lot of patients in treatment for scoliosis (at the medical group where I work) and it can be very difficult, especially at that age – it’s distressing and uncomfortable enough on its own, add in budding hormones, peer pressure, and all the rest, and it’s downright grueling.
That said – WOW, she really blew past her awkward stage, didn’t she?! Last photo I remember seeing of her, she was gawky and a bit… well… well, let’s just say again, WOW. I think she is going to be really beautiful.
She is an adorable girl, who is quickly growing into a stunning young woman. I absolutely love her. Whatever I joke about Madonna, she has some damn good genes and does not strike me as a woman who messes about in her child-rearing. I bet Lourdes is an absolute doll. Also, well done her for not giving a crap being photographed wearing this, braces and her glasses. More secure than I was at that age.

Besides it looks like her nanny is earning her paycheck and looking after her “helf”.
She is a cute kid… I go all out with adults, but I stop pretty far short being really mean to kids. I love that she is confident enough to not care the paps can see her wearing this.
