BREAKING NEWS: There is one (yes… one) judge in the Los Angeles judicial system not so blinded by celebrity that they let Lindsay Lohan walk away from her court hearing unscathed. Lohan was in court this morning. According to Lohan, her dog ate her passport or something… that’s why she was unable to make it back from pAArtying in Cannes. The judge was less than impressed at her Saved By The Bell excuses and threw the book at her. Here’s what went down…
Lohan escaped arrest, despite not turning up to an earlier hearing, by posting $100,000 bail. Following today’s court hearing, she is not allowed to drink, do drugs, or work for any length of time outside of Los Angeles, CA. Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel told the 23-year-old, at today’s Beverly Hills court hearing, that she would have to begin wearing a SCRAM alcohol monitoring bracelet withing 24 hours. She must also start an alcohol education course and a minimum of once-per-week random drug testing; failure to comply with drug testing will be seen the same as a dirty test. She was scheduled to work in Texas and her lawyer WHAAA’d that the bracelet would interfere with that project. Revel stated that Lohan would have to postpone as the drug tests were in CA not Texas. The only way she can miss a class is if one clashes with a random drug test.
Lohan will attend court July 6, 2010 (4 days after her birthday) to determine whether she violated probation. She faces six-months if found guilty.
