Lindsay Lohan Surrenders to Begin Jail Time

Lindsay Lohan’s time is up, after all of her ridiculous shenanigans and poor decision-making. Lohan has been stalling and switching legal council more than she’s been sending crack tweets about her damaged relationship with her father (who, incidentally, Dina Lohan has threatened to have locked up for violating a restraining order protecting her if he shows up… which he has). The Beverly Hills courthouse, to which Lohan is surrendering, is being livestreamed inside and out by TMZ and others. The local time in Los Angeles for her to surrender is 8:30AM (PST). Which has just passed. She made it to court about 10-20 minutes late, and she went right in to see the judge. Cameras crews were asked to shut down within minutes, and told not to show her being cuffed. Last night she had to trade lawyers from Robert Shapiro, who quit on her at the last minute and is rumoured by TMZ to have only used her to promote his sober-living house, back to Shawn Chapman Holley (the woman sat next to her as she doodled Eff You and her crack-notes). Incidentally, during the livestream, it was noted that Shapiro was NEVER her lawyer as Holley was never relieved as representation by the courts. From his end, it’s reported that Shapiro was sick of Lohan’s behaviour and (as I called her out on) having guests at all hours of the day and night.

Pictures from today show Lindsay Lohan arriving at the Beverly Hills Courthouse to turn herself in. Video below shows Lohan surrendering, today, July 20, 2010.
