People who don’t have TMZ alerts on their cells are still willing to pay cash money for Lindsay Lohan to show up places. When she’s being paid nearly a million dollars to do Playboy, she screws up the shoot so bad they have to do the whole thing over. When she’s hired for something like Glee or SNL, she’s either late, or acting like a diva, or doesn’t know her lines, or doesn’t turn up at all. She was such a trainwreck on Linda Lovelace biopic, Inferno, she’s blamed for tanking the movie altogether. She no-showed several times while taping Oprah’s docu-series. And when time came to promote The Canyons, she was no-showed and got chewed out by the director.
But she STILL gets hired. This Halloween, for example, dressed as Carrie alongside co-host Floyd Mayweather’s Freddy Krueger, Lindsay was paid over $50,000 to host a costume party at MGM Grand at Foxwoods Resort and Casino . However, TMZ reports, she turned up so late she ruined the event and the casino wants its money back.
Sources familiar with the situation tell us, Lindsay was paid to show up to Foxwoods casino in Connecticut at 10pm, but she didn’t arrive until 11:43pm.
When she finally did show up, we’re told she blew off the red carpet — where she was supposed to pose for photos and talk to fans — and walked straight into the party.
We’re told Foxwoods is now trying to renegotiate Lindsay’s contract because the casino feels she screwed them over.
Lindsay didn’t completely drop the ball. We’re told she and co-host Floyd Mayweather Jr. judged the Halloween costume contest together and actually did a decent job. (FYI, Lindsay was dressed as Carrie and Floyd was dressed as Freddy Krueger.)
For what it’s worth, we’re told Floyd (who was paid about the same as Lindsay) was late too — but he made up for it by spending time with fans, signing autographs and taking photos. Lindsay, not so much. - via TMZ.
E! News adds, she was on the red carpet for about “10 seconds.” The sources also contradict TMZ a little. ”Casino employees were disappointed she was late and basically skipped the carpet, but as a host she did well, judging the costume contest and interacting with guests,” says an E! source. “I think overall the casino was very pleased with the outcome of the event and is looking forward to more opportunities in the future.”
Also, ”Her rider stated that there was to be no alcohol for her. Water and juice only.”
A friend of Lindsay’s also denies that the casino wants its money back, says Lindsay has already been paid in full and it was more like six-figures, and she stayed “45 minutes” past the allotted time.
