Lindsay Lohan’s house was burgled on Sunday (August 23, 2009). Like any good 20-something in the age of web 2.0 one of the first places she went to vent on the subject was Twitter. Lohan used her official Twitter to explain that not only was her home violated, her personal belongings were taken that she cannot easily replace. The series of tweets has sparked off several rumours about to what she was referring.
The Chicago Sun Times gossip column is further stoking the fire: “I’ve learned the real reason Lindsay Lohan is so upset about the theft of the safe from her L.A. house is the contents included some very incriminating videos and photos, plus legal documents, that LiLo believes could cause embarrassment if made public.”
Lohan’s tweets were certainly not helping to deflect the assumption that the items in question may have included incriminating photos, or even something as drastic as a sex tape. She said in her tweets, earlier this week: “…I know it was not a robbery. electronics weren’t taken… just things that a certain old friend knew meant a lot to me”.
What on earth could have been stolen that is such a cause for concern? I wonder. A lot of money could be made off a Lohan sex tape and sh*t knows even douche robbers have to eat. Hmmmm.
