Lindsay Lohan has spoken out, to rubbish rumours of a renewed prescription drug addiction. The actress is once again being accused of slipping into old habits, after she was spotted with a non-descript bottle of pills in her bag.
Rumours started when the contents of her open purse were photographed as she exited a car and made her way into Chateau Marmont, a few days ago. Because she was seen with something medicinal and hardly has the best track record the troubled star was immediately under assault by papers like the UK’s Daily Mail.
She has been quick to refute yesterday’s reports that she has been chopping and snorting anything unseemly. She confirms the type and use of the pills as follows.
Gossip Cop [...] went directly to Lohan, who told us all about the pill bottle pictured in the Daily Mail article and elsewhere. Lohan said, “They are trazodone.” And while the pills have various usages, Lohan explained to Gossip Cop that they were prescribed as “a non-narcotic sleeping aid for when I travel. They’ve been prescribed to me since I was in rehab!”
This loser would deny her own existence if it got her publicity.
Very true, very true – the pills got her in the press again, so I’m sure she doesn’t really mind.
