Lindsay Lohan Basically Phoned In Sick To Barbara Walters; Will Appear On Leno Instead

Lindsay Lohan phoned in sick to Liz & Dick at which time producers called her bluff by sending paramedics to her hotel room. Then Lohan phoned in sick to Scary Movie 5 so often it worried co-star and fellow addict-recidivist Charlie Sheen. And now Lohan’s basically phoned in sick to Barbara Walters by telling the host she ‘doesn’t feel up to’ being interviewed then booking a Leno interview for the same week. The Walters interview was already filmed, in part, and that can be found above. Lohan bailed on filming the second part of the interview that would have aired November 20 on 20/20. Now Lohan will be on Leno next week about which Walters told The View she’s ‘disappointed.’ Walters continues: ‘So today I pick up the paper, the punchline is Lindsay is sitting for an interview with Jay Leno! [If her new reps] had said to me ‘You know, Barbara, she isn’t up to the kinds of questions that you might ask’ although most of them were comparing her to Liz Taylor…child stars, aggressive mothers… it would have been a wonderful interview. If they had told me that, I wouldn’t feel quite as disappointed as I do today.’ A source says it’s Walters’ own fault for wanting to hear Lohan’s outside voice: ‘Barbara was going to ask [Lindsay] probing questions about her drug use, Dina Lohan’s drug use, the intervention, and Michael Lohan recording their phone call and the family’s money issues. Barbara was going to try and get Lindsay to talk about all of the drama in her personal life, including the possible upcoming charges for lying to the cops after her car accident, and Lindsay isn’t ready to talk about anything. There was no way she could answer any of the questions right now, Lindsay just isn’t in a good place to do that.’
