Bad things keep happening to Lindsay Lohan inside, outside, and immediately adjacent to hotels and she’s so broke she’s racking up five-figure bills that she’s blaming on the only people stupid enough to hire her. And yet she’s still spending all her time in the hotels of doom that are catalyst to her legal troubles. Just like she cannot seem to stay away from nightcaps followed by rides of terror in Porsches of doom. This weekend, Lohan says she was attacked by one of the randoms she invited into her personal space because her great decision-making is somehow still leading to legal trouble. The 26-year-old told police she was assaulted in her Manhattan hotel room Sunday morning by a man named Christian LaBella, 25, whom she met at the 1 Oak nightclub and invited back to her room at the W Hotel, along with some of her friends. Because clubs are also great places to pick up randoms and make great decisions. LaBella took over 50 photos and video on his cell and had been emailing them to friends because of course he did and Lohan apparently confronted LaBella who allegedly assaulted her. Lohan says, when she took LaBella’s cell, he punched and chocked her. Police sources say Lohan pulled the hotel’s fire alarm to raise the alarm. LaBella was later charged with assault and harassment, confirms the New York police department: ‘Police were called to the W Hotel, following a phone call for assault. We took the man into custody shortly after 6 a.m. and he was charged this afternoon.’ Upon further investigation, however, police dropped the assault charge. LaBella has filed a harassment complaint against Lohan. And Lohan says LaBella, whom she suspects of sucking up to her friends to get close to her only to ditch the friends and go to the hotel without them (with Lohan), should be prosecuted. Her rep confirms Lohan only sustained minor injuries: ‘Lindsay was assaulted early this morning in a New York hotel. While she did sustain some injuries, she was not hospitalized. Lindsay has spoken with police and is fully cooperating with the investigation.’ Photos from NYC event this month.
