Leona Lewis has the worst kind of ouch-y right now. The poor girl was attacked by a crazy person, the world’s most patient crazy person, who queued up for five hours, stewing, just so he could punch her in the face.
Lewis, 24, was at a signing for copies of her new autobiography Dreams at Waterstone’s in Piccadilly, London, UK on October 14, 2009. The crazy, who’d been queuing up with everyone else, struck the star in front of security and witnesses. That’s the perfect way to get away with any crime, to do it in front of cameras and hundreds of other people. The 29-year-old, 6foot 5inch, man was arrested for the unprovoked attack on the 2006 X-Factor winner, at at 4:36 p.m. (10:36 a.m. ET), according to a Scotland Yard statement. He had to be wrestled to the ground by five security people, who some say should have stopped picking their cracks and jumped in earlier.

She clutched her head and burst into tears as she was whisked away from the scene by minders and taken to hospital. Are we a little touchy today, sheesh – it’s a turn of phrase. I was using it for emphasis, as the guy was older and quite a bit taller, and it’s not like I invented the phrasing/ wording.
Though to be honest that comment comes across as rather rude – and there was no need to phrase it like that in order to make a point – post amended… *rolls eyes*
WTF?!? why would that giant man go up and hit her? Leona seems like a nice person, why can’t someone go up and punch Kanye or some other douchebag? The bad stuff always happens to the nice ones. This guy better watch himself, or he’ll be sleeping with the fishes!
Totally with you – Kanye needs to release a book and get punched by some nut, already. Leona is a sweet, young girl and was crying after being hit. Poor thing. I hope the guy gets jail time for asault.
