This story is a mess, I’m glad I didn’t cover it earlier. Because I would have overlooked the subsequent denials and the denials of the denials. LeAnn Rimes appeared on X Factor USA the finale during which the remaining contestants performed duets with their coaches and/ or guest singers (I gather, I couldn’t be bothered to watch). One of the finalists, 13-year-old Carly Rose Sonenclar, got stuck with Rimes as duet partner and they sang How Do I Live together. Except Rimes was stumbling around, looking down during hard notes that she missed anyway, and kept trying to sing over the kid who kept throwing baby shade (baby’s first side-eye). Rimes sounded like crap and was trying to pull focus from a young singer who was talented and clearly annoyed. Viewers quickly declared that Rimes must have been ‘drunk.’ So her lawyer issued a series of statements to TMZ.com throwing Sonenclar under the bus. Rimes allegedly said: ‘I was trying to help this 13-year-old girl who was having some trouble with the song.’ And Rimes’ lawyer allegedly explained: ‘LeAnn was not performing the way she would normally perform, because she was on stage with a young girl. There have been a lot of untrue things said by others and it feeds into this sort of thing.’ Adding that, get this, ‘[Carly was] very nervous and had difficulty with some of the notes and [LeAnn] was doing her best to help her get through it.’ NOPE, you can listen for yourself in the video below (and hear how it’s supposed to sound below that). Rimes then flipped out at the backlash about her apparently dissing a minor, by claiming the girl couldn’t carry the song, and issued a rebuttal to her own lawyer’s rebuttal. She wrote on Twitter, because of course, ‘In my 18 years of performing, I have never been anything but professional onstage. It is a shame that gossip and lies are overshadowing the performance of Carly, a very talented young girl. And while I have not given any media outlet a quote, if you want one, here it is ‘It was an amazing opportunity to share this experience with Carly and I know I’ll be watching for her to win tonight.” For what it’s worth, TMZ is sticking by its story and is calling Rimes a liar on TMZ TV, also below. When she tweeted the “Getting ready” photo, the first thing that came to mind was “Is she drunk?”. She looks out of it in that photo. Even in the photo of Eddie standing behind and kissing her, they both look like they are drunk(the last time he took a photo like that with her it was because she made out with Lizzy.).
Leann exploits Brandi’s kids, sick kids, and homeless teens just to keep her name and face in the press, so no one should be surprised by what she did and is doing to Carly Rose. Leann is surrounded by too many yes people(Eddie and the fans she plants on sites to push her “Eddie loves me/Leann is a victim of Eddie’s manipulation” agenda included) who tell her exactly what she wants to hear and never hold her accountable for her bad actions because they don’t want to lose the rewards she gives them for agreeing with her.
People are saying that she threw a pity party on her “Eddie isn’t cheating because…” fan website. This was the wrong thing to do, but then again when she has certain media outlets and people enabling her bad behavior, why wouldn’t she play the victim? We all know how this will end. Leann will continue the pity party and tantrum, whoever she is blackmailing at NBC will step in to fix it, the media outlets who slammed her will then get amnesia and be forced to write fluffpieces, NBC/ABC/FOX/E!/GAC/CBS/OWN will give Leann a special interview to talk about how she suffered, and then we will be slammed with “happy family” photo-ops and twitpics of her and Eddie and “their boys” at airports or on some beach.
And the damage control begins. TMZ talked to Simon and he says that Leann was not drunk or on drugs and that she is welcome back on the show anytime she wants. Seriously? Isn’t this the same man who didn’t want Leann near his show and now he is singing a different tune? Who is Leann blackmailing at NBC Universal?
So is Leann telling Simon that she couldn’t have been drunk because she is pregnant, is that why Simon looked like he is hiding someting?Why do I get the impression that this is leading up to a staged beach bikini parade where Leann shows everyone just how wrong they are for saying she was drunk by debuting a “baby bump” or sticking her stomach out far enough to generate talk that she couldn’t have been drunk on X Factor because she was pregnant?
Poor Leann. Scheana is going to make an appearance on RHOBH on Monday and Leann is going out of her way to depict her relationship/affair/marriage to Eddie as something out of a romance novel in preparation for it, just like she went out and got the foot tattoo when Sheana first appeared on RHOBH. Leann is bragging about how she and Eddie bought a house! Yep because everyone knows that Eddie can’t possibly be cheating on Leann or want out of their marriage since “they”(aka LEANN) bought a house, right? And then Leann went to US Weekly and Extra and had them write up another fluffpiece about “Borrowed”, which is odd because for some reason those same media outlets reported on “Borrowed” last week , so why are they acting this is the first time that they have heard about how “Borrowed” is about Leann’s affair with Eddie? Yep, Eddie can’t possibly be cheating on Leann or want out of their marriage because US Weekly and Extra said it’s so!
It’s a shame how Leann goes out of her way to do damage control everytime Scheana pops up on RHOBH? There is something that she just doesn’t want everyone to know. Did Leann bribe or pay Eddie off to stay away from Scheana? Or maybe Leann is trying to hide Eddie’s 2009 affair with Scheana?
